About Me

He graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He practised as a general practitioner for a short period between 1999 and 2000. In 2004, he completed his neurology residency at the Neurology Clinic of Kartal Training and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health. After completing his military service between 2005 and 2006, he began working as an Assistant Professor at Kafkas University in 2007, serving as the Founding Chief Physician and Founding Head of the Neurology Department. In 2008, he spent two months at the University of Manchester in the UK for foreign language training and clinical observation. In 2010, he obtained the title of Associate Professor after passing an examination at Hacettepe University. He then began working at the Department of Neurology at Namık Kemal University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2010 and 2013, he served as Director of the NKU School of Health and in 2014 as Deputy Chief Physician at the Research Hospital. In 2015, he spent nine months in Cape Town, South Africa, to study a foreign language and observe at the University of Cape Town. He is a member of the Turkish Sleep Medicine Association, the Turkish Neurological Association, and the Child and Adolescent Neurology Association. He is also the Vice President of the Academic Functional Medicine Association.

In 2002, he began working on neurotherapy and nutrition in neurological diseases. In 2006, he published his work on blockages in migraine pain. He has published papers and conducted studies on neuroepidemiological research into the prevalence and causes of neurological diseases. He has carried out studies on identifying the causes of disease and the importance of physical integrity in the treatment of neurological diseases. In 2008, she received training in sleep and sleep disorders at the sleep disorders unit of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. While in South Africa, she learned the functional medicine approach and completed her training at the Functional Medicine Academy in 2017-18. In 2018, he graduated from the Ministry of Health's GETAT training programmes, obtaining certificates in Mesotherapy and Ozonotherapy. He served as the translation editor for the book Functional Unconnected Children, aiming to raise awareness and support treatment for neurodevelopmental disorders.
